MELODY DIACHUN is a celebrated Canadian vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and educator who stands as a “force to reckon with in contemporary vocal music.” (Toronto Music Report) With her previous nomination for Vocalist of the Year at the National Jazz Awards, she has recently been nominated for Jazz Artist of the Year at the upcoming 2023 Western Canadian Music Awards. Her latest album, "Sumner's Tales: The Music of Sting" is a standout undertaking for jazz enthusiasts and fans of Sting and The Police.   Melody carries with her the experiences of her life, from her beginnings in Montreal to the heart of Nova Scotia, and from New York City, Banff, and Vancouver to her current poetic home in the landscapes of Nelson, British Columbia.

DOUG STEPHENSON has been a cornerstone of Western Canada's vibrant music scene for more than three decades. Hailing from Calgary, he is a multifaceted musician, proficient on acoustic and electric bass and guitar; Doug is also a skilled composer, producer, and mixing engineer. He has performed with notable artists such as Charlie Rouse, Les McCann, Bob Murphy, Joani Taylor, Jay Thomas, Kris Davis, John Stowell, Tommy Banks, P.J. Perry, Altered Laws, Campbell Ryga, and Blues legend Big Miller.
